URI North Woods

URI North Woods is found on Flagg Road, north of the University of Rhode Island Kingston Campus. These woods are essential habitat for local wildlife, an important outdoor laboratory for URI students, and offers recreational opportunities for students, staff, and local Kingston residents.  We have been utilizing motion activated trail cameras to survey the local mammal community since 2018.
